ALBUQUERQUE-Larry Ilfeld will head up the new office at 3615 Highway 528 NW in Albuquerque. The opening is part of a major expansion that's been going on for about two months by the Irvine, CA-based Sperry Van Ness.

PEABODY, MA-Berwind Property Group sells Centennial Technology Center, a 330,000-sf office park located at 10 Centennial Dr. to an affiliate of Des Moines-based Principal Life Insurance Co. for $38 million or $115 per sf. The Philadelphia-based firm purchased the property two years ago for $19.2 million.

ISSAQUAH, WA-Derus Development is the developer. The lender is HomeStreet Capital. The $14.9-million financing covers construction of the second phase and land development for the third phase.

WHITE PLAINS-Cappelli Enterprises reports it has retained HRH Construction of New York City as the construction manager for its 35-story residential tower, part of its $300-million City Center at White Plains project.
