BUCKEYE, AZ-An existing trans-loading facility will be leased by Southern States Power Co. and converted into a biodiesel production plant. The facility is one of several business strategies being put into play for the Western markets.

WOODLAND HILLS, CA-WMC Mortgage Corp. says it funded $405 million in loans during August, a record for the company. The company's loan funding volume in August 2001 was $130 million.
