PHOENIX-A California-based real estate investment firm has increased it's portfolio of apartment complexes in the Valley with the $15.4 million purchase of a property in northwest Phoenix.

CHICAGO-Centrum Properties Inc. and Angelo Gordon and Co. team up to build North Avenue Collection, an eight-story building that will include 70,000 sf of Class A office and 130,000 sf of retail space.

HOUSTON-The three-building Loop Central Drive office project has 326,310 sf on the market, thanks to the departure of Jacobs Engineering from 292,821 sf in the project. Jacobs has moved into a new owner-occupied structure.

DETROIT-Italian publisher l'Arca Edizioni produces a new book, "Albert Kahn Associates -- Continuing the Legacy," featuring the firm's work on such projects as the Detroit Opera House and Providence Medical Center in Novi, MI.
