COWETA COUTY, GA-The $22-million, 82,000-sf Summit Healthplex, financed by 125 individual investors, is scheduled to open in October near Newnan, GA, about 45 miles south of Atlanta. Newnan-based OutMed conceived the idea for the three-story project.

DAVIDSON, NC-Davidson Clinic is taking 12,000 sf at the $5-million, 36,000-sf Davidson Medical Center, about 20 miles north of Charlotte. The project is part of the 18-acre Davidson Gateway mixed-use development. The center is targeting a September 2001 completion date.

PHOENIX-Peoria in the north, Goodyear to the south hope $420 million in improvements will help them cope with rapid growth.

HOUSTON-About 1.8 million sf was absorbed during the last six months. Deliveries amounted to 2.2 million sf, half of it preleased.
