Marriott Opens 188-Room Hotel

BROOKLINE, MA-The Brookline Courtyard by Marriott Hotel opens at 40 Webster St. in the Coolidge Corner area, a few miles from Downtown Boston. Charlesbank Capital Partners and New Castle Hotels funded the development of the eight-story, 188-room hotel.

BROOKLINE, MA-The Brookline Courtyard by Marriott Hotel was opened at 40 Webster St. in the Coolidge Corner area, a few miles from Downtown Boston. The development of the eight-story, 188-room hotel was funded by Charlesbank Capital Partners, LLC and New Castle Hotels LLC.

Construction began in late 2001. The building was developed on the site of a former town parking lot, and its developers emphasize that the area has “high physical and political barriers to entry and no existing hotels of comparable quality.”
