French (right) and Ritter

NEW YORK CITY-Attendance might be down this year at the International Council of Shopping Centers’ annual RECon event in Las Vegas next week, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be slow. “I actually think this is going to be a better year,” said Joseph French, national director of retail at Sperry Van Ness.

French spoke with Ian Ritter, GlobeSt.com’s national online editor about this and other topics in the retail industry.
