Paperless Work Environment Proliferation

LOS ANGELES-The proliferation of mobile technology has impacted every aspect of the way we do business today. From the obvious—the ability to work from anywhere, 24-7—to the less obvious, these tools make flexible work environments functional.

A recent survey by CBRE’s Workplace Strategies Group found existing offices/workstations are only occupied, on average, 48% of the time. When not at their desks, employees are either working in the field, or at other on-/off-site locations. Regardless of the location, access to important files is critical to productivity, which dictates an electronic solution. Thus, one of the greatest challenges to the mobile work environment is helping employees in the process of “going paperless.”
