LOS ANGELES-The Beverly Hills-based real estate investment trust, which has been considering a merger with the Weisman Group, has rejected the company's latest proposal, according to a recent announcement by G&L Realty Corp. A special committee of the board of directors decided against the offer because it is not in the form of a definitive acquisition agreement.
IRVINE, CA-The new building will serve as the headquarters for Pacific Life & Annuity's Group Insurance Division for Southern California operations. Approximately 450 employees from the company's Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach offices will move to the new site in 2002.

TUSTIN, CA-The financing for the two medical buildings was arranged by NorghMarq Capital Inc. and provided through Deutsche Bank. The facilities, which total 66,000 sf, are 95% occupied.
LAGUNA WOODS, CA-The nonprofit corporation, Golden Rain Foundation of Laguna Hills, has signed a 10-year lease to occupy 41,000 sf in the 12-acre Town Centre complex here.
IRVINE, CA-Locally based CIP Real Estate, along with a joint venture partner, has snatched up the Milliken Business Center. The 12-building complex encompasses 157,701 sf.
IRVINE, CA-The congregation has purchased a 25,026-sf research and development building in the Irvine Spectrum and plans to occupy it within the next several months.
WESTMINSTER, CA-The Pavilions Center, which is anchored by Vons Pavilions and Target, has added Easy Life Furniture to its list of tenants. Easy Life has signed a $1-million lease for retail space at the complex. Slated to open its doors later this month, it will be the newest of Easy Life's three stores.
