GLENDALE, AZ-Local investor Viorel Motiu buys a 95%-leased complex along North 75th Avenue in the metro's second-ranked submarket for vacancy and rent revenue. A California trust is the seller of the 44-unit complex.

STAFFORD, TX-Franchisee Mahavir Host LLC acquires a 37,500-sf tract abutting the site of a $20-million convention center in a Houston suburb. The hotel developer will build a 32-room Scottish Inn.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ-The 210-room SunBurst Resort, positioned within 20 minutes of Sky Harbor International Airport, is predicted to draw offers in the mid-$20 million to mid-$30 million range, says Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels.
