Liberty Tax, soon to be renamed the Franchise Group, has inked a definitive agreement to acquire the Vitamin Shoppe in an all cash transaction. The Vitamin Shoppe conducts business through more than 750 company-operated retail stores under The Vitamin Shoppe and Super Supplements retail banners nationwide.

A JV between Normandy Real Estate Partners and The Pinkard Group acquired 716 Ritchie Rd in Capitol Heights.

The seller was Castle Lanterra and the buyer was Capital Square 1031, which acquired the 328,066-square-foot building for nearly $200,000 per unit.

The purchase includes five flex/industrial and office buildings located in the Chantilly, Va., business park.

The San Diego-based firm plans to occupy a total of 30,783 square feet encompassing the entire second and third floors of the 38-story tower building in the latter part of the first quarter of 2020.

Local company Network Realty Partners makes its first major acquisition.
