WAXAHACHIE, TX-A Dallas-based group closes on 1,420 acres southeast of Fort Worth, where the plan is to develop a complex for national and international events for motorcycles, cars, jet skis and boats. Ground breaks in March 2003.

PASADENA, CA-Starwood Wasserman LLC of Providence, R.I. has developed three new buildings at the Shops on Lake Avenue, which will include about 25 retailers and three restaurants. Shops on Lake Avenue runs between Del Mar Boulevard and San Pasquel Street along Lake Avenue.

PORTLAND-Trammell Crow Co.'s urban retail team, Craig Sweitzer and Dan Bozich are leaving the company to establish one of their own. TCC has yet to name a Portland managing director since Chris Nelson left the post in July to start his own development firm and was joined by Jeff Sackett, then TCC's vice president of development.
