ORLANDO-The East Central Florida Planning Council here is starting to receive paperwork on at least three mega mixed-use ventures whose development costs will easily top $1 billion each, planners say.

LANSING, MI-A lease land measure, brownfield authority rules and airport zoning changes are all on the governor's desk, says the Michigan Municipal League. Property assessments could be affected.

ATLANTA-The locally based firm acquires 10.7 acres from from Roberts Properties Inc. for an undisclosed sum. The 220-unit community will break ground by fall in Sandy Springs, 15 minutes north of Downtown Atlanta.

CHARLOTTE-The National Association of Home Builders cited the locally based company's nine-story, 266-unit Summit Grandview as one of the country's best mid-rise or high-rise apartrment projects.
