ATLANTA-Column Financial, a local firm, believes in the area's viability for high-tech office space. The Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette company has invested $3.8 million in permanent financing for Stove Works, an intown commercial loft building.

PHOENIX-Sanderson Ford pays $3.2 million for suburban parcel and will build new dealership on the site.

HOUSTON-The city's space race puts 17 more tenants in the West Memorial Park office complex. The tenants are absorbing more than 60,000 sf in the project along Interstate 10.
