CHICAGO—The latest edition of PwC and ULI’s Emerging Trends report is out, and apparently 84% of those polled for the report predict that overall profitability will be up in 2016. Interestingly, that’s the same number who said it would be up a decade ago, and while 2007 was indeed a good year, there was clearly little thought of headwinds.

In this exclusive video interview from the SIOR Fall World Conference here, Gabriel Silverstein of Angelic Real Estate and David Ariola of Chicago Realty, talk about the outlook for their markets—New York City and Chicago, respectively—as well as the general climate of both leasing and sales.

You’ll hear them discuss:

  • Who’s taking the major office spaces and is the day of doing more with less finally over?
  • How is the foreign capital picture shaping up in each of their markets?
  • Can we finally put worries of interest-rate hikes behind us?
  • What is your outlook for 2016?
