PLANO, TX-Life Time Fitness of Eden Prairie, MN buys a 12-acre corner at Legacy and Preston for its first Texas center. The location is described as one of Dallas' finest. The chain a year ago was looking in Austin and then took a pass.

RICHARDSON, TX-Lou Lebowitz, known for his retail acquisitions, ventures into office with a 70,000-sf building in Richardson, a high-tech hub waiting for its glory days to return. Lebowitz, certain it will happen, buys and strikes a partial leaseback in the process.

DALLAS-Eight office and industrial leases close around town with savvy talking from both sides of the street. The largest lease is 11,979 sf for five years and brings a doubling of space for the industrial user.

FORT WORTH-The done deals are buildings in Grand Prairie and Arlington and 16 acres in north Fort Worth. The Grand Prairie buyer gets a 7,800-sf warehouse on a half acre plus purchases an abutting lot for even more expansion space.
