LAS COLINAS, TX-The move is complete for a one-time Colorado company that has settled in Texas. The Walnut Hill Court headquarters is open and hiring's started at Timera, part of Union Pacific's Fenix high-tech holding company.

AUSTIN-The Lynxs Group is partnering with a Jackson, MS business to build a 450,000-sf air cargo facility at Jackson International Airport. The first 60,000 sf will deliver in second quarter 2002.

AUSTIN-Insignia/ESG's Austin office has picked up another leasing and management contract, taking the team to 950,000 sf in the past year. This time, Insignia gets the 190,000-sf trophy building being vacated by CSC.

AUSTIN-HDR Engineering has signed for 30,000 sf at the recently completed 150,000-sf Wells Branch Tech Center. An expanded state contract drives the need for more space. And within a year, the firm just might exercise an option for even more office space.

AUSTIN-GenCap Partners, based in Dallas, is fine-tuning plans for a 450-unit luxury project to be built on 38 acres in north central Austin. It's the firm's solo entry into the Austin market. More land is being eyed for another project, says GenCap.

SAN ANTONIO-West Creek Town Homes' 440 units are in line for cable and high-speed Internet services from Austin-based US OnLine. Company statements indicate more San Antonio holdings could result from the long-term pact.

DALLAS-The closing's been a long time in coming, says a key player in Pearle Vision's plan to sell part of its national headquarters site in Dallas. Pearle keeps a 90,000-sf regional distribution center and the buyer gets a 140,000-sf building and about half the acreage.

ARLINGTON, TX-Miramar Development has been waiting for this day, breaking ground on the 405,000-sf Arlington Distribution Center. It is the developer's first foray outside Dallas' northeast quadrant. The first phase tallies 253,165.
