FT. WORTH-A mini-storage is tackling three building projects on nearly 20 acres, bought recently in the Riverbend West Industrial Park. Sutherland Investments is undertaking the projects as its inroad into the single-tenant industrial market.

HOUSTON-Extrusion Technology inks a deal for 142,000 sf of industrial space for a manufacturing site in the 80-acre Continental Emsco facility. The company supplies titanium and other specialty steels to such markets as aerospace, defense and energy.

AUSTIN-Boxx Technologies has relocated its corporate headquarters into more than 12,000 sf at the Kaleido II building, 9390 Research Blvd. plus has plans to double its executive staff. The digital video manufacturer has added some Hollywood power players to its client roster, including MTV Network.

COLLEGE STATION, TX-Boston-based Charles River Associates Inc. is tapping Dr. Steven N. Wiggins from Texas A&M University as a senior consultant for its first Texas office. The office opening is just part of the consulting group's westward expansion.

HOUSTON-The ACR Group, a wholesaler of HVAC and refrigerator equipment, has selected Transwestern's Westchase III for its new office. The business is taking 5,978 sf in the eight-building business complex.

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX-Home Depot USA takes the bait of a rail line expansion to sign a 322,824-sf lease in the Great Southwest Industrial Park. The home center, planning a December move-in, will use 300,000 sf as lumber distribution site.

CARROLLTON, TX-Illes Food Ingredients Inc. is planning a move-in by April 2001 into 112,000 sf of manufacturing space at the Luna Distribution Center II. The 73-year-old business produces flavor and aroma enhancements for processors.

CARROLLTON, TX-The Texas Hematology/Oncology Center is undertaking its sixth metroplex operation, breaking ground on a 22,000-sf outpatient diagnostic and treatment facility for adults. The facility is tentatively scheduled to open in early 2001.
