SUGAR LAND, TX-The drug store chain acquires a tract at a main intersection in the community of First Colony in Sugar Land. The plan is to unlock the doors in December on the retailer's 12th Texas location.
FREEPORT, TX-Shin Etsu has two plants operational, one under construction and a fourth on the drawing boards. And, it's in talks to buy a 28,000-sf warehouse on about eight acres that it is leasing for the short term.
CLEAR LAKE, TX-Alamo Title signs a new contract to change its positioning in 1331 Gemini St., an 88%-occupied office building in the Clear Lake/NASA submarket. The signing caps a round of talks between PM Realty and Cawley.
PHOENIX-Arizona Custom Shades adds 3,000 sf in the move to the Desert Cove Industrial Park, a 45,000-sf project owned by Los Angeles-based Irmas Industrial. The firm lines up 6,250 sf and "a better fit" for its needs, the broker says.
HOUSTON-The redeveloped office building in the Montrose/Allen Parkway snags another lease for its Texas-based owners. The Family Service Center takes 6,594 sf. It's the second pact for the property in three months.
PHOENIX-The association's Central Phoenix chapter acquires a 150,681-sf parcel near Pinnacle Peak and 19th Avenue for the 20,250-sf headquarters, being named after the daughter of the Arizona Diamondbacks' president.
HOUSTON-A lampshade wholesaler takes 12,905 sf at 7808 Kempwood Dr. An engineering firm signs for 10,500 sf at 12112 Almeda Rd. The larger deal comes down between tenant Vision Comfort and Weingarten.
HOUSTON-The Prairie View A&M University's nursing school relocates for renovations to its medical center building. The school takes up 46,667 sf of a 219,054-sf building on the southern fringe of Houston's CBD.
HOUSTON-W. Roger Gregory, regarded as a local leader in real estate finance and the accounting community, takes over the senior VP and CFO role. He replaces Tom Kennedy, who is pursuing other opportunities.
PHOENIX-Primary Financial Services boosts its presence in the downtown Phoenix mall while Westland Title sews up an office in the Pinnacle at Kierland II. The mall deal was packaged by Insignia/ESG and Staubach brokers. The other by Lee Associates Arizona.
