LOS ANGELES—Maintaining consistent branch layout—including customer lobby, greeter stations, finishes, materials and lighting—is crucial when rebranding retail financial tenants, SRK Architects’ managing principal Brian Kite tells GlobeSt.com. The firm is redefining the workplace for Torrance-based Western Federal Credit Union—which is rebranding as UNIFY Financial Credit Union—and is currently designing facilities for the company in Lakewood, CA; Mesa, AZ; Las Vegas; and Lexington, KY; with more in the pipeline. We spoke exclusively with Kite about why financial-sector tenants are focusing on rebranding and how architectural and design firms can help them through this transition.
