NEW YORK CITY-Avison Young‘s hottest new assignment is to lease up the 1.7 million square-foot trophy building at the smoking Hudson Yards area here. Potential tenants would be best to keep 3 Hudson Blvd. in mind, as the Moinian Group has appointed the firm as the exclusive leasing agent of the property.
AY principal and tri-state president Arthur Mirante was unable to comment on the assignment at press time. Be sure to check back later this week on GlobeSt.com for further details.
For those outside of New York City or unfamiliar with the area, 3 Hudson Blvd. will become a class A office property, located right across from the Javits Convention Center. Back in December, Globst.com was on hand to report the groundbreaking of what will be the south tower there, spanning 47 stories. And just this month, Globest.com announced that Ralph Lauren was potentially looking at space in the new development. Time will tell just how this area will pan out but what do you think?
Will Hudson Yards end up being a high-end, mixed-use area or strictly office properties and eateries? Give us your opinion in the comments below.
