BAYONNE, NJ-The Bayonne City Council has approved a resolution to have the city bond $17.5 million towards the construction of a new global headquarters for locally based Royal Wine Corp.
With the vote, the bonding resolution will now go to the local finance board to allow the new, more than 400,000-sf office and warehouse project to proceed. The ordinance will be voted on during the Council Caucus on Feb. 13, following a public hearing, according to The Jersey Journal.
The bonds, if approved, would cover more than half of the estimated $32 million cost of the project that will create nearly 120 new jobs at Royal Wine once completed. See story in The Jersey Journal.
