JACKSONVILLE, FL—It’s the first condominium building under development in Jacksonville in nearly a decade. Hallmark Partners has unveiled plans for Beacon Riverside, a luxury condominium tower on the St. Johns River in historic Riverside.
Bryan Weber, who joined Hallmark in 2012 as multifamily principal, will oversee all aspects of the new development. Weber is the developer of the nearby Villa Riva Condominiums and Townhomes in Riverside, as well as The Ocean Villas at Serenata Beach Condominiums in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
“This is a unique riverfront residential opportunity within walking distance of the increasingly vibrant activity, shopping and cultural centers of Riverside that are unmatched in Jacksonville,” said Weber. “Like Villa Riva, Beacon Riverside is designed to become the upscale residential address for many of Jacksonville’s most discerning buyers.”
Located at 500 Bishopgate Lane, the 16-story condo will feature 55 for-sale residences ranging in price from $600,000 to nearly $2 million. The 2,200- to 4,000-square-foot luxury residences will don 10-foot ceilings and terraces offering views of the St. Johns River, the downtown skyline and/or city views of historic Riverside.
In recent years, Riverside has continued to flourish with new retail centers and restaurants, manicured parks and green space and significant cultural attractions. The growth of the Riverside Arts Market and the activities planned at Unity Plaza, a $39.5 million investment Hallmark is deveoping, is set to revitalize the downtown area and create a vibrant urban lifestyle.
Construction of Beacon Riverside is scheduled to begin the first quarter of 2014. Completion slated for the fourth quarter of 2015.
