Drew McCourt is the fifth generation of the family in real estate.

NEW YORK CITY—Drew McCourt is taking the reins at MG Properties,the real estate investment and development arm of McCourt Global. Based in New York City, he’ll lead day-to-day real estate activity at the firm as its president.

Specifically, that entails identifying and assessing new investment opportunities, the deployment of capital and the ultimate development of properties. A principal of McCourt Global and the fifth generation of a family in the business since 1893, McCourt will also play a key role in establishing and growing partnership and joint venture opportunities for MG Properties.

Previously, Drew helped drive business development activity for McCourt Global and helped guide its philanthropic strategy. Before that, he held numerous positions within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. 

Before the sale of the team in 2012, McCourt served as VP of business development for the organization. He was actively involved in both the extensive renovations to Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and creation of the Dodgers’ new spring training facility at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, AZ.
