CHICAGO—Transwestern has just hired Andrew G. Kelly as an executive vice president with its tenant advisory services team. The 18-year industry veteran specializes in large professional services firms with multiple locations and has completed more than 3-million-square-feet of deals valued at more than $1 billion, company officials say.
“Andrew brings a winning combination of experience and a passion for negotiating the best deals for his clients,” says Mike Watts, Transwestern’s Midwest president. “His experience with multi-market clients will be a strong addition to our tenant advisory services team as we expand our presence nationwide.”
Most recently, Kelly served as a principal at Advocate Advisors. He began his career at Studley Inc., spending more than 15 years with the firm. His client roster includes K&L Gates, Heidrich & Struggles, Orbitz, Punch Bowl Social and Latham & Watkins.
“We are thrilled to have Andrew as part of our growing team of tenant advisory professionals in Chicago,” says Amber Strang, executive managing director of Transwestern’s tenant advisory services platform. “He brings great experience in serving multi-market occupier clients and is always looking for ways to deliver unexpected value into his client’s portfolios.”
Kelly earned his bachelor’s degree in real estate finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He served on the executive committee of the Lincoln Park Zoo Auxillary Board from 2003 to 2009 and has been a member of the executive committee of the Chicago Real Estate Organization.
