MALVERN, PA—IFM Efector, a designer and builder of industrial sensors and controls, will shift its corporate headquarters to a new 45,000-square-foot building at the Atwater Corporate Center here.

Trammel Crow Co. will construct the two-story, $15-milion building, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal. The company is currently based at 782 Springdale Drive in Exton, PA, where it leases 35,000 square feet of space.

“We’ve been in the United States since 1985 and are really excited about the next chapter for our company,” says Roger Varma, chief executive officer for IFM Efector.

Its new offices are designed as an open space concept that allows more natural and affords more room where employees can gather, Varma adds. It also features an exercise facility and café for employees.

“We wanted to give employees an environment where they could thrive and have shared spaces that will encourage movement in the building for collaboration,” Varma says. See story in the Philadelphia Business Journal.
