FORT WORTH–Hillwood Properties, developer of the 18,000-acre master-planned, mixed-use AllianceTexas facility in far north Fort Worth, is bringing two spec industrial buildings into the fold.
Groundbreaking for the 230,000-square-foot-plus Alliance Gateways 24 & 25 is scheduled for next month, and the project should be finished by March 2015, said Tony Creme, vice president of Hillwood Properties, to GlobeSt.com
“We are moving forward with the project based on demand we’re seeing in the market as a result of the growth of AllianceTexas,” he said of the development’s speculative nature.
Situated at the southeast corner of Park Vista Boulevard and Liberty Way, the project will offer space from 25,000 to approximately 230,000 square feet. With direct access to State Highway 170, and nearby to BNSF Railway’s Alliance Intermodal Facility, Gateways 24 & 25 will also provide the triple Freeport Inventory Tax Exemption and Foreign Trade Zone status.
“AllianceTexas is currently home to over 370 companies which occupy over 37 million square feet,” said Creme in a release. “These new industrial facilities will offer suppliers and partners of these companies the ability to locate in close proximity to their customers.”
The new industrial offerings continue the trend of big growth for AllianceTexas during the past two years.
“Hillwood continues to see strong demand for industrial space at AllianceTexas,” Creme added. “With the increased density we’re experiencing in and around AllianceTexas, there is a great opportunity to offer space that supports the overall growth in the region.”
