Los Angeles Hollywood Park is located in the Inglewood submarket of Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES—The Rams Stadium build is starting to move. Hollywood Park Land Co., an affiliate of the Kroenke Group and the developer behind the 298-acre mixed-use Hollywood Park project, has hired a partnership between AECOM and Turner Construction Co. to build the 70,000-seat stadium for the Los Angeles Rams. The project will open in 2019.

Hollywood Park Land Co. intends to build the largest and most “technologically advanced” sports stadium in the world, and AECOM and Turner make up a power team. The two companies are the largest builders of sports complexes in the world, with experience building 17 stadiums for the National Football League and renovating 10 stadiums. “The selection of these two firms, two of the largest construction and engineering firms in the world, having built or renovated 17 NFL stadiums among their many other projects, are outstanding choices to design and build the Rams’ new stadium,” Hans Mumper, executive managing director for Greater Los Angeles at Colliers International and an expert market source not involved in the project, tells GlobeSt.com.
