Housing Bulges as Baby Boomers Round the Corner to 70

Developers across the country are stepping up to build upscale living for active adults as the Baby Boomer generation—the largest US demographic—begins to reach the 70-year mark.

GARLAND, TX—With the Baby Boomer generation—the largest US demographic—beginning to turn 70 years old, developers across the country are stepping up to build upscale living for this age bracket. Seneca Investment‘s Firewheel Senior Living Residences, which recently broke ground, is one of the residences expected to fill some of that demand.

With its salt water pool and other amenities, the complex’s general contractor, KWA Construction, anticipates Firewheel will be highly regarded within Garland’s senior living communities. The 154-unit 171,572-square-foot senior living community is located near the Firewheel Golf Course.
