NEW YORK CITY—Joseph Manasseri has joined Cushman & Wakefield as senior managing director of asset services for the tri-state region. He joins the firm from GE Capital Real Estate, where he served as managing director of global asset management and led the firm’s asset management group of 3,200 properties across North America, Europe and Asia.

At Cushman, Manasseri will be responsible for growing the asset services business in the region, currently consisting of nearly 50 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space. He will focus on recruiting top industry professionals, team engagement, cultivating best practices, and executing consistent processes and procedures.

An industry veteran of more than 25 years, Manasseri has an extensive track record in asset management and has built a strong focus on client relationships. He will report to Ron Lo Russo, President for the New York Tri-State Region, and Marla Maloney, President of Asset Services for the Americas.

Earlier in his career, Manasseri served as manager director for global operations for GE Capital Real Estate, overseeing the commercial real estate portfolios.
