Opus Building New Facility for oelheld US Inc.

Opus designed the West Dundee building to remind visitors of oelheld’s corporate logo.

CHICAGO—The Opus Group recently completed a land sale and contract for a 23,400 square foot warehouse and office facility at the Oakview Corporate Park in suburban West Dundee. Designed for oelheld US Inc., a Germany-based company that develops cooling and lubricating fluids for the tool and gear making industries, the space will serve as the company’s new US headquarters and manufacturing site.

“They are growing quite fast,” Matt Bratzke, director, project management, Opus Design Build, LLC, tells GlobeSt.com, “and have outgrown their current facility in Elgin.” By moving to nearby West Dundee, the firm can hold onto their highly-skilled employees, most of whom live in the area. “The western suburbs have a very good pool of workers to draw from.”
