Examining OC’s First Barefoot Community

DANA POINT, CA—To be comfortable enough to stroll barefoot across the walking bridge or on San Juan Creek Trail with a cup of coffee in the morning is what beach living is all about, Zephyr’s Chris Beucler tells GlobeSt.com.

DANA POINT, CA—To be comfortable enough to stroll barefoot across the walking bridge or on San Juan Creek Trail with a cup of coffee in the morning is what beach living is all about, Zephyr’s COO Chris Beucler tells GlobeSt.com. The San Diego-based real estate development company broke ground last week on South Cove, a condominium community featuring 168 luxury residences at Del Obispo and Pacific Coast Hwy. here.

The company acquired the choice nine-acre land parcel for $50 million in July 2015. Completion of the community is slated for 2019, pre-sales begin in early spring 2017, and the models are slated to open in late summer 2017.
